Maya Experimentation

These are a few experimentations that I did in Maya. One I have textured using the UV map editor. Which involves unfolding the the polygons of the object so that it is a 2D image and then going into Photoshop and and laying the desired texture above the UV map and then importing it back into Maya. I used a image of google for the texture but only as to get an idea of how to texture objects in Maya

Maya/Sculptris Experimentation

This is my unholy creation that I made using Sculptris, a free modelling software. This image is a result of me just messing around with the different tools and textures that come with the software. But it would be impractical to export into Maya as it has far too many polygons and would take ages to render and would properly crash game engines.
360 Pan view
This is my first animation. I feel that it works in a few of the seconds but not so well in others, what I think my downfall was that I chose not to use a light box which meant that I couldn't adjust the difference between each frame properly. In future I shall use a light box and take more care when drawing the images.
